Sustainability Plan 2025

Our Sustainability Plan 2025: Working Together to Create a Better Tomorrow highlights our ambitious goals and commitments to make a positive change across three pillars: people, planet and product.

We are no longer satisfied with limiting the negative impacts of our operations; we are actively looking to create positive change in our business and in our extended value chain, together with our partners. We see sustainability as an opportunity to create long‑term value for our shareholders through innovation that will deliver benefits for decades to come.

Our Sustainability Plan 2025 is reviewed and adjusted as part of our annual planning cycle to maintain its relevant in a changing world. This document is version 2.0 of our Sustainability Plan 2025, effective September 2022.

Woolworths & WIRES Food for Wildlife

The largest provider of 'free' food for native wildlife in Australia, Woolworths & WIRES Food for Wildlife supported 169 wildlife rescue organisations in F23, covering 5100 wildlife carers and 68,000 native animals including Olivia, the 60kg endangered Loggerhead Turtle rescued off the coast of Broome in November.

After great care and months of being hand-fed donated peeled king green prawns from the local Woolworths store, a healthy Olivia was returned to the sea in May and has many years of critical breeding years ahead of her.
